How to choose the right everyday shoe
Choosing the right everyday shoes starts with understanding your fit, comfort needs and the way you move throughout the day.

Start with the right shoe fit
Fit should be the first consideration when choosing everyday shoes. Your longest toe should have comfortable space at the front of the shoe, while the heel should feel secure without excessive pressure.
The upper should follow the natural shape of your foot and provide enough room around the widest part of the foot.
Choose shoes for your everyday activities
Think about where and how you spend most of your day. Walking, commuting, travelling and standing for long periods can place different demands on your footwear.
For active everyday use, look for a balance of cushioning, stability and flexibility rather than choosing a shoe based only on appearance.
Look for comfortable cushioning
Good everyday shoes should provide cushioning that feels comfortable while still allowing natural movement. The right amount of cushioning can help make long periods of walking and standing more comfortable.
Consider breathability and materials
Breathable upper materials can improve comfort during long days. Engineered knit and other lightweight materials can provide airflow while adapting to the natural movement of the foot.
Try shoes at the right time
When possible, try shoes later in the day when your feet may naturally be slightly larger than they are in the morning. Walk around in the shoes and check that the heel remains secure and the forefoot has comfortable space.
Comfort and fit should come before trends
The best everyday shoe is one that matches your real routine. A comfortable fit, supportive construction, breathable materials and appropriate cushioning are more important than choosing footwear purely because of a trend or category.
